We are looking for a Workshop Manager for signage. You will oversee daily workshop operations, lead production teams to ensure high-quality signage is created efficiently and on time by managing staff, equipment, materials, production schedules, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:Lead and motivate a team of sign makers and other workshop personnel, ensuring clear communication and strong team performance.
- Production Management:Oversee the entire production process from job order receipt to delivery, managing workflow, work schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Technical Expertise:Possess good knowledge of signage manufacturing processes, using different materials (like vinyl stickers, wallpaper, metal, wood, PVC, Alucobond, etc ), and the operation of relevant machinery and tools.
- Quality Control:Implement quality control procedures to ensure all signage meets client specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Resource Management:Manage inventory, optimize material usage to reduce waste, and ensure workshop equipment is properly maintained.
- Safety and Compliance:Create a safe working environment by identifying and eliminating hazards, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Budget and Cost Control:Monitor workshop expenses, manage budgets effectively, and ensure production is cost-efficient.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and train staff on best work methods and practices.
