Responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences by providing personalised assistance, handling inquiries and complaints, coordinating services, and maintaining strong guest relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Job Duties:
- Welcomes and greets guests promptly and politely as per Hotel standards and procedures;
- Assists in organising special events such as weddings, dinners, cocktails as per guest demand;
- Maintains a close liaison with travel agencies regarding information of clients’ needs, special requests and VIP treatment;
- Provides all necessary information and assistance as instructed by the Head of Department to all clients during their stay at the hotel;
- Converses with guests to obtain feedback on quality of services and suggestions, if any for improvement and relays this information as per Hotel policy.
Candidate Profile:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent;
- Previous professional experience in related function will be an advantage;
- Good communication and organisational skills;
- Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities;
- Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
- Knowledge of a third language will be a definite advantage.
