RRCL is looking for a dynamic Contracts Manager to join its team
Key Responsibilities:
- Contractual: Draft contractual letters, notifications and related correspondence.
- Project Oversight: Supervising construction activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Resource Management: Manage labour resources based on site requirements.
- Subcon Management: Manage nominated and direct subcontractors to ensure that they meet required deadlines and quality standards.
- Procurement: Assist the procurement department to optimise procurement strategy, review quotations, negotiate with contractors / subcontractors, and ensure timely and compliant procurement.
- Commercial: Build strong client relationships, assist in post-tender negotiations, and manage commercial risks while optimising cost and value.
- Financial & Cost Control: Provide information to the construction surveyor to measure works, prepare valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Tender: Assist the Operations Manager and Senior Construction Surveyor at pre-construction stage (Drafting of Programme of Work, Method statement,..).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering or Bsc (Hons) or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of Conditions of Contract (Inclusive but not limited to FIDIC), Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Strong leadership, Strategic thinking, Cost control, negotiation, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in the construction industry in a management position
