We are currently looking for a Systems Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to provide first line technical support, troubleshoot system and assist with infrastructure-related queries to ensure smooth operations for our clients.

The role requires a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service approach. You will work closely with other engineers, Consultants , and project teams to resolve incidents, implement improvements, and maintain system stability.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer requests and act as a point of contact for customers and respond to their inquiries and support requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal disruption to their operations.
  • Manage multiple customer requests simultaneously and ensure that each request is addresses within the agreed-upon service level agreement.
  • Providing recommendations for customer infrastructure.
  • Evaluate the performance, security and stability of the customer’s infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive infrastructure recommendations and proposals.
  • Assist in implementing new solutions for customers and work closely with sales and project management teams to design and plan the implementation of new solutions for customers.
  • Conduct through testing and quality assurance.
  • Perform system maintenance and support by monitoring the performance of customer systems and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to keep the infrastructure secure and up to date.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of customer infrastructure, configurations, and changes made to systems.

 

Requirements:

1. Education

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field.

2. Experience

  • Past experience in operating PBX, VOIP, computer systems, a variety of operating systems, software, hardware, and networks.
  • Knowledge of utilization and purposes of management information systems; principles and operation of networks, operating systems, standard software applications, hardware, and related peripheral equipment.

3. Skills

  • Ability to, organize, schedule, and coordinate a variety of activities and projects; learn new software/hardware packages and adapt to changes in technology.
  • Must establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
