In order to support our team in various locations in Switzerland, we are looking for a business-minded and pro-active Marketing Automation / CRM Engineer with experience in the B2B domain to solve business challenges with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the Customer Insights marketing automation solution.
In this role
You’ll work as a CRM Engineer using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM on internal Marketing projects. Your role will cover the entire range from support (suggestions for solutions, demos, effort estimations), to specification phase, design, implementation, automation, testing, and key-user enablement.
You will work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Marketing Category Managers to define targets, segmentation and contact strategy for optimizing e-mail response and improving e-mail subscriber list quality.
As a Marketing Automation / CRM Engineer you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Successfully understanding and communicating the functionality and architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Customer Insights
- Being able to understand ELCA’s business and marketing goals, needs and processes; standardizing of processes and campaigns through marketing automation
- Implementing best practices to maximize e-mail marketing engagement and response including copywriting, e-mail template design, rendering and deliverability
- Reporting on response and subscriber engagement for automated e-mails, campaigns and newsletters
- Managing the profiles, segmentation and targeting for our subscribers and customers
- Working on Data Quality initiatives
- Reviewing product releases and appropriating new features
About your profile
You are interested in delivering business goals through marketing communications aspects as much as in technical activities with a distinct customer focus and good communication skills? You want to work efficiently, and both autonomously and in a team? For this vacancy we expect a candidate with an academic degree of a university, university of applied sciences or technical college with ideally one year of experience in the implementation of MS Dynamics 365 CRM solutions (or similar).
- You know the standard functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE or similar. You know the limits of the configuration and which extensions can be implemented cost-efficiently by programming; you are familiar with Dynamics 365 APIs
- You have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing and Sales modules
- 2+ years experience of managing marketing automation and e-mail marketing for lead generation campaigns in B2B organizations with lead and demand generation targets based on data-driven inbound-marketing techniques, preferably including copywriting and proofing of campaigns is a plus
- You have at least basic programming skills, preferably in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio
- You have some broad knowledge in or understanding of relational database systems (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
- Preferably you have experience with the integration of a CMS with a CRM
- Experience with cloud services, preferably Azure is a plus
- Knowledge in HTML, XML, JavaScript or CSS is a plus
- Your English is fit for business purposes
