Job Summary

Join our dynamic Investment Team as a Junior Investment Analyst, where support the team in asset allocation, portfolio monitoring, and investment strategy implementation, while contributing to research-driven decisionmaking in a fast-evolving financial landscape.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor cash balances to ensure timely and optimal investment of surplus funds. 
  • Compare and align current asset allocations with the strategic asset allocation (SAA) targets. 
  • Calculate portfolio returns and conduct performance attribution analysis. ▪ Evaluate potential investment opportunities to meet long-term return objectives and make informed recommendations. 
  • Prepare quarterly investment reports for local committees and Board Asset-Liability meetings, including market updates, portfolio reviews, key results, and action plans.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with local teams, brokers, and banking partners.
  • Update fact sheets on a monthly basis and quarterly reports. 
  • Prepare Investment presentation for board meetings including reviews of investment activities and portfolios. 
  • Track and analyze financial news from reputable media and research sources.
  • Develop market and economic views through global and local economic research.
  • Conduct company and industry due diligence, including analysis of financial statements and market data.
  • Maintain and update fund-related information for website publication and press adverts. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. 
  • Progress towards CFA would be an advantage 
  • 1 year of experience in the financial, investment and/ or insurance sector 
  • Highly motivated, proactive and dynamic person
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Financial and Investment Analysis (ratios and other indicators)
  • Knowledge of the local economies and markets
  • Well versed with MS office tools (excel and PowerPoint), Adobe pdf creator.
