The Events Production and Operations role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of events, ensuring that both production and operational aspects are executed flawlessly. This role combines creative event planning with logistical execution to deliver exceptional experiences.

 

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES -

KRA- People

l  Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among staff and vendors.

l  Foster a positive and productive work environment.

l  Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.

KRA- Clients

l  Collaborate with clients to define event goals and develop strategic plans to achieve them.

l  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

l  Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and feedback.

l  Identify, select, and negotiate with artists to participate in events.

l  Collect feedback from participants and artists post-event.

l  Analyze attendance and client satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.

l  Propose corrective actions to optimize the quality of future events.

KRA- Events

l  Plan, organize, and execute events that align with the company’s vision and goals.

l  Manage all logistical elements, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.

l  Coordinate technical production requirements such as audio/visual setup, staging, and lighting.

l  Supervise event setup and execution, addressing any issues promptly to ensure smooth operation.

l  Ensure all events adhere to safety regulations and secure necessary permits.

l  Conduct evaluations after each event to gather insights for future improvements.

l  Manage and monitor event materials: audiovisual equipment, installations, and supplies.

l  Perform regular maintenance, conduct inventories, and plan repairs or replacements as needed.

KRA- Creation of   EventS

l  Develop innovative event concepts that attract and engage target audiences.

l  Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new events.

l  Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events effectively.

l  Manage media relations and ensure event media coverage.

KRA- Finances

l  Prepare and monitor event budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.

l  Oversee financial planning and forecasting for events.

l  Analyze financial performance and provide reports to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum experience requirements

l  4-6 years in event production and operations, with a proven track record of successful event execution.

l  Being in the events sector for 4 years

Minimum education requirements

l  Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

l  Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

l  Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members.

l  Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with event production technology and software.

l  Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly and creatively under pressure.

l  Dynamic and fast-paced, with requirements for evening and weekend work during events.

l  May involve travel to various event locations.
