We are looking for an accounts officer for our Accounting firm whose responsibilities will be:

• Bookkeeping of clients` records
• Posting of transactions and bank reconciliations, liaising with clients regarding bookkeeping discrepancies and queries
• Assisting in maintaining the integrity of clients` accounting records
• Familiar with submission of various returns to MRA (VAT, CSG, PAYE, PRGF, TDS, annual ROE, corporate tax returns, individual tax returns)

Competences:

• Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems mainly Quickbooks and SAGE Pastel
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Dynamic, committed and proactive
• Good team Player
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft word / excel / outlook
• Adopting a high-quality culture to minimise error ensuring quality service levels

Qualifications:

• HSC with two years` working experience in accounting fields
