Business Development and Fund Manager

Provide financial advice and services to private and corporate clients on a range of investment matters, including buying and selling investment trusts and shares. Help clients invest their money in the best opportunities, ensuring administrative efficiency and accurate reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new client Investment Funds in need of a CIS Licence.
  • Develop ties with investment managers and advisors in African market.
  • Ensuring the efficient running of the back-office functions of AAMIL Asset

Management Ltd.

  • Putting in place and regularly reviewing all necessary administrative, report accounting, control and risk management procedures to ensure the proper running of the Company.
  • Prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Monitor and report changes in the risk profiles of individual assets in the portfolio.
  • Make timely recommendations for mitigating strategies and risk rating changes.
  • Prepare analysis, record and report asset transactions for financial records.
  • Manage and monitor team performance.
  • Monitor project and fund compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular investment reports, risk assessments of investments.
  • Calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV).
  • Address day-to-day client queries regarding any managed assets or funds.
  • Review and update marketing materials used to promote AAMIL's services and products to clients, intermediaries and contacts.
  • Review and update procedural manuals for AAMIL Asset Management Ltd.
  • Market the products and the offerings of AAMIL Asset Management Ltd.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
  • Job Requirements – Qualifications and Experience

    • Holder of a bachelor’s degree in finance and or any other professional qualification.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in fund management or a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of investment trusts, shares and other investment instruments.
    • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
    • High level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
    • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
