Working hours:

Monday to Friday 9:00 to 4:30

Saturday 9:00 to 12: 30

Fabric, bed, bath and table linen wholesaler located in Port Louis looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant

Day to day duties

• Carrying out sales
• Understanding and meeting customers’ needs
• Assisting customers with their requirements
• Suggesting alternatives when goods is unavailable.
• Preparing and managing samples
• Preparing orders and dispatching of goods
• Performing stock take

• Keep record of sales lead and ensure proper recording on the system
• Provide administrative support to the Sales department in the day-to-day activities
• Hunt for new business through cold calling

Requirement

• SC/HSC holder minimum
• Proficient in MS word, outlook, excel
• Excellent communication capacities
• Demonstrable sales experience
• Meticulous and detail orientated
• Excellent work ethics and integrity
• Strategic, adaptable, and supportive disposition
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of managing own workload and confident in liaising at all levels of the business
