This role involves working closely with internal teams and external machine suppliers, supporting improvement initiatives, and managing critical spare parts stock. You'll also assist in fine-tuning equipment and advancing factory automation projects in a dynamic, food-grade production environment.

 

  • Ensure all automated equipment is operating effectively and maintained per manufacturer guidelines and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electromechanical issues during equipment breakdowns
  • Assist in calibration and fine-tuning of machines for optimal performance
  • Coordinate with machine manufacturers for troubleshooting and suppliers for spare parts procurement
  • Manage the inventory and availability of critical spare parts with regards to production machinery.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams on factory automation and improvement projects
  • Perform wiring and installation of industrial control panels, including systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) on agreed electrical drawings
  • To liaise with production team for preventive maintenance planning and execution
  • Uphold safety and hygiene practices in line with food manufacturing standards
