We are seeking an organized and efficient Storekeeper to join our team in Constance Sakoa, Trou aux Biches, Mauritius. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth operations in our storage facilities.
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of goods and supplies within the organization. As part of the responsibilities the storekeeper needs also to:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming goods in designated areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and prepare items for internal distribution
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
- Assist in implementing and improving inventory control procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
- Report any damages, shortages, or quality issues to management
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
