Job Summary

Essenze Ltd is recruiting a Store Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including receiving, storing, issuing, and managing inventory. The role ensures that materials and supplies are properly maintained and recorded to support the organization’s operations efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operations of store, ensuring that the team delivers excellent customer service, maintain store standards and follow operational procedures;
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods as per requisitions.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure stock availability.
  • Organize and arrange materials systematically for easy access and identification.
  • Maintain inventory records using manual logs and/or inventory management software.
  • Perform periodic stock-taking and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
  • Monitor and report slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and other departments for stock planning and requisitions.
  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures in the store.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports, GRNs (Goods Received Notes), and other related documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Showroom Representative to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time and all customer concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Assist with inspecting incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the Finance team and
  • Assist in generating sales reports, updating inventory records and maintaining accurate documentation of store activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and feedback in a professional and efficient manner.

 Requirements

  • Minimum HSC or Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with storekeeping practices and inventory management systems.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Working Conditions:

  • Working days/Hours: Monday to Friday 08h00 – 17h15 and Saturday 08h00 – 13h15
