Themis International School is hiring a passionate Physical Education Teacher for the secondary cycle.
This role is available as part time or full time.
Ability to teach a second subject may lead to a full-time position.

Main Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging, curriculum-aligned physical education lessons across the secondary cycle, encouraging students to develop physical literacy, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for healthy living.
- Create inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environments that promote physical confidence and emotional well-being.
- Participate in weekly planning and collaborative meetings with colleagues and school leadership, contributing actively to the wider teaching team.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative tools, and provide clear, constructive feedback to encourage growth and development.
- Be an active ambassador for the school’s vision and values by contributing to co-curricular programmes, sports events, and student life activities.
- Maintain rigorous standards of health, safety, and safeguarding at all times, ensuring students’ welfare is prioritized in all PE activities.
- Support whole-school events, house competitions, and recreational duties, reinforcing school spirit and community engagement.
Qualification & Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in Physical Education or a related field
- Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level
- The ability to teach a second subject may lead to a full-time position
- Ability to plan and deliver a wide range of sports and physical activities
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate learning and tailor activities to students’ individual needs
- A positive, collaborative attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
- Previous experience in an international or multicultural school setting is an advantage
