Provides support to the Finance Department with daily operations, documentation, audits, and control procedures; assists in data analysis, investigations, and SOP compliance; and performs related duties as assigned.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assists the Finance Department with daily tasks and control procedures
- Assists the receiving officer in their daily duties as and when needed
- Gathers and organizes documentation for audit trails
- Ensures proper filing and accessibility of documentation
- Prepares, collects and analyses data
- Documents findings and present to internal controller
- Assists in investigation of discrepancies
- Conducts routine checks to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assists in implementation of new or updated controls
- Conducts any cognate duties assigned.
Core Profile:
- Degree in finance / Accounting or equivalent
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate highest standards of personal and professional integrity
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficient in MS Office in general
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within the department
- Having a methodical approach and attention to details
