Location: Tamarin, Mauritius Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

 

 

The Junior Quality Assurance Officer supports the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and aviation industry regulations. This role involves assisting with inspections, sampling, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with the COO and other stakeholders, the incumbent will help identify risks, investigate non-conformances, and promote a strong quality and safety culture.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

· Assist with the execution of quality assurance processes and procedures.

· Conduct compliance verifications, sampling, and supply evaluations.

· Conduct gap analysis to identify risks and areas for improvement.

· Document quality issues and help investigate root causes and corrective actions.

· Support internal audits and help track non-conformances and improvements.

· Maintain QA records and prepare management reports.

· Collaborate with the COO to promote a quality culture, ensure alignment, and knowledge transfer.

· Assist in reviewing and updating QA documentation, including SOPs and checklists.

· Monitor adherence to company quality and safety policies.

· Participate in training sessions and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

· Grade 12/Matric equivalent with Maths as a subject (Essential)

· Grade 12/Matric level Science (advantageous)

· Qualification in Quality Management/Assurance (advantageous)

· 1 - 2 years of experience in a QA/QC role (advantageous)

· Basic understanding of quality standards (advantageous)

· Experience with technical drawings (advantageous).

· Experience in the aviation industry (advantageous).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
