Beachcomber Catering is looking for a motivated Security Manager to join their team !
Main responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory and aviation industry standards.
- Manage all aspects of physical security for inflight and inland catering sites, including access control, surveillance, and perimeter protection.
- Supervise and train security personnel to ensure a high level of vigilance, professionalism, and adherence to company protocols.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments, audits, and inspections, and propose proactive measures for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with relevant authorities including airport security, law enforcement, aviation regulators, and internal departments.
- Respond to and manage incidents, investigations, and security breaches, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to aviation, food safety, and workplace safety.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture and Operations teams to support security-related training and awareness initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key security performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
Profile & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a security management role, preferably in the aviation, catering, logistics, or hospitality sector
- Strong knowledge of aviation security standards (e.g., ICAO, IATA, local civil aviation authority regulations)
- Excellent leadership, crisis management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of modern security systems and technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays, as operational needs may require
- Background in law enforcement or certified security training is an advantage
