Sales Executive - Projects

Identify and develop new leads and market segments and implement short and long term market strategies for sales development. Discover and explore opportunities in wood, metal, decorative and interior deco paints market and develop strategies to penetrate these markets

 

Sales and Business development

  • Promote and specify our products with architects and interior decoration firms. Assist and support them all the way through their projects.
  • Explore, analyse and negotiate new commercial, residential and government projects in terms of supply of paints as well as supply and apply basis.
  • Participate in trade shows and demonstrate the quality and uses of our products. Follow up with all new leads from trade show events
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets. Strive to grow the sales of the Company

Market Knowledge

  • Research client base to find new types of customers and sell to them accordingly
  • Collect, analyse and utilize market intelligence data on competitors’ products, pricing and assess their strengths and weaknesses.

ISO implementation

  • Assist in effective ISO implementation in the sales department

Product development

  • Co-ordinate new product launch and assist in implementing sales & marketing strategies for their market penetration
  • Participate in the long term branding program of the company

Customer Service and engagement

  • Effect regular visits to corporate customers, hotels and contractors to understand their specific demands and challenges regarding our products and services
  • Work with customers and sales teams to ensure in a timely manner the resolution of delivery or technical problems encountered

Planning, organising and reporting

  • Keep management informed by submitting activities and results reports, such as daily call, weekly work plans
  • Work with the Sales Manager to devise and implement innovative go-to-market strategies
  •  Report to Management on a weekly basis
  • Plan daily and weekly field actions with clear goal setting mindset
Skills
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Need to possess good IT skills on system: Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Ability to organise and plan marketing actions along with marketing team
Requirements 
  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent 
  • +5yrs experience in similar position 
  • Living in the North 
  • Valid driving license
