Key/Primary Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of key clients with a focus on commercial deals and strategic account growth.
- Monitor sales performance, develop accurate forecasts, and drive planning initiatives to meet targets.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure profitability.
- Develop sales strategies and merchandising standards to optimize in-store execution.
- Foster and enhance long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
2. People Management
- Lead and manage team members by aligning personal and corporate objectives.
- Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure team effectiveness.
- Foster a motivated and committed team culture through rewards, skill development, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct regular training and workshops to enhance work practices and team capabilities.
3. Development Avenues
- Collaborate with senior management on the formulation and implementation of strategies in related business areas.
- Lead and manage end-to-end projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and identifying new business opportunities.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide regular market activity reports and insights to senior management.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual presentations on Modern Trade performance, including sales analytics, brand tracking, key account reviews, and cost-benefit assessments.
Qualification & Education Requirements
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- An MBA is highly desirable.
