Lead the architecture and deployment of IoT solutions across the hotel group.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture and deployment of IoT solutions across the hotel group.
• Evaluate and implement technologies including LoRaWAN, integrating with Modbus or other protocols.
• Define hardware and connectivity needs per project and ensure real-time data transmission.
• Integrate IoT platforms with business systems (e.g., CMMS, PowerBI, ERP).
• Collaborate with maintenance, IT, and vendors for API connectivity, data flow, and cloud interfaces.
• Manage device lifecycle: provisioning, updates, health checks.
• Set up dashboards, alerts, and troubleshoot network performance.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for hardware, firmware, and deployment support.
• Train internal teams and guide hotels during rollout and support.
• Propose pilots and R&D aligned with sustainability and digital strategy.
Qualifications and profile
• Bachelor’s degree in either Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent in experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IoT deployments, network infrastructure, or embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of wireless protocols (LoRaWAN, BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, etc.) & Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub), MQTT, APIs, and dashboards.
• Proactive, hands-on, and solutions oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-property hospitality environment.
