Your responsibilities within our Tribe

Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Ensure that all personal data processing activities comply with the GDPR and Group policies.
  • Ensure local site compliance with Mauritius’ Data Protection Act 2017 and local privacy requirements.
  • Maintain the register of processing activities, conduct DPIAs, and manage data breaches.
  • Organize awareness and training sessions for employees.


Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational and compliance-related risks.
  • Update the local risk map and propose mitigation plans.
  • Track key risk indicators and escalate issues to management when necessary.


Internal Control

  • Lead the internal control framework at the local level.
  • Conduct regular controls, document outcomes, and propose corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal control reviews of other Group entities based on the defined schedule.
  • Ensure procedures are compliant, updated, and effectively applied.


Compliance Oversight

  • Implement Group compliance programs locally (ethics, AML-CFT, anti-bribery, information security, etc.).
  • Organize local compliance committees and produce structured reporting.
  • Maintain regular communication with Group compliance and risk stakeholders.


Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support the local compliance team.
  • Define priorities, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team development.
Your distinctive profile
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance, data protection, or internal control.
  • A degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Law, Audit or Risk Management is a plus, but relevant experience is the main requirement.
  • Comfortable working with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Mauritius’ Data Protection Act 2017.
  • Initial experience in project coordination or operational support is a plus.
  • Experience with ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001) is highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and structuring skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with varied stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking, autonomy, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Good command of both French and English, written and spoken.
