Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR and Payroll Assistant to support our HR department in processing payroll and maintaining accurate employee records. This is ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in payroll and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee data in HR systems.
• Handle basic payroll queries from staff under supervision.
• Support the preparation of payroll reports for finance and HR teams.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., PAYE, NPS, etc.).
• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process related to payroll.
• File and organize payroll documents both physically and digitally.
• Always maintain confidentiality and data protection.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as required.
• Any cognate duties as per Line Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in HRM or any equivalent certificate.
• Basic knowledge of payroll systems or HR software is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
