Job Profile

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Commercial Manager who will be responsible to achieve or exceed planned profitability and contribution at all levels for the department by optimising resources and actively contribute to develop and implement approved strategic growth plans/ambition of the department as well as that of the cluster and the company.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales organization.
  • Oversee business development and contribute to relevant initiatives.
  • Analyse, evaluate and increase the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
  • Responsible for the profitability of operations and ensure achievement of budget.
  • Develop innovative design and technology to enhance the experience of the company’s customers while positioning the company as a thought leader.
  • Prepare/implement strategic plans and lead company sales professionals and channel partners to achieve sales and profit objectives.
  • Focus on account/customer retention and account acquisition, ensuring and solidifying the best relationships in the industry through optimum use of CRM.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management/CEO and/or the Board of Directors to develop pricing strategies and sales campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor`s Degree or Masters in Sales and/or Marketing or in any related field or at least ten (10) years of solid working experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Experience of more than five (5) years in a similar position would be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude

  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong operational management skills to optimize processes, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Excellent Sales, Procurement, Stock Management skills.
  • Knowledge of products trends on the market / industry.
  • Highly motivated team player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organisation.
