About the role:

SD Worx’s Risk & Security is an international team of security & privacy professionals providing assurance on the security & privacy capabilities of the various SD Worx products. Processing personal data of millions of people and building innovative digital products and services for the payroll and HR services market requires SD Worx to maintain high standards for the security of our customer data. The team partners closely with product engineering and our operations teams to drive the success of the security program.

Within the Risk & Security team, we are looking for a Security Compliance Lead who will contribute to manage the information security management system across the group and will report into the Manager - Security compliance and awareness.


Which tasks can you expect?

  • Plan and conduct security related risk assessments
  • Monitor security measures to continuously improve the maturity of the information security management system
  • Continuously improve on risk reporting processes which include designing and revising KPIs and KRIs as required
  • Work with process owners to derive risk treatment plans to effectively manage information security risks
  • Liaise with external auditors to plan and coordinate audits
  • Follow up on action plans to resolve non-conformities
  • Respond to generic queries on Information security from various stakeholders
  • Assist pre-sales colleagues in the RFP process by responding to security related questionnaires
  • Build and maintain a security balanced scorecard to monitor and review the enterprise security program
  • Design and conduct security and privacy awareness trainings to promote good security practices across the organisation
  • Design, launch, monitor, and optimize phishing campaigns on the corporate learning platform to enhance cybersecurity awareness and resilience within the organization.
  • Review and propose changes to security policies in line with enterprise objectives and information security trends and developments


What do you have to offer?

Profile:

  • Degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/ Computer Science
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar environment or within a Financial Services or consulting organization
  • You have experience in maintaining an information security management system
  • You can confidently lead and conduct information security risk assessments
  • You are confident enough to independently coordinate and attend customer audits
  • You understand the principles in identity and access management, infrastructure security and product security
  • You have proven experience and a good knowledge of the main security frameworks including ISO27001, NIST cybersecurity framework, emerging technology trends and the CIS Critical Security Control
  • An ISO27001 lead implementer/auditor certification, or any other related professional certification will be highly relevant

Personal Competencies:

  • You can work independently and with minimum supervision
  • You have strong communication skills and can understand and fluently explain technical concepts to a less technical audience
  • You love to work in an international team in which you will have contact with colleagues from multiple countries and backgrounds
  • You should be able to coach and guide junior colleagues within the team
  • Ability to challenge proposed solutions and ways of working
  • Good English language skills
