Key responsabilities

Safety and Security

  • Follow emergency protocols (e.g., evacuation, medical emergencies, natural disasters).

  • Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately.

  • Identify, correct, and report unsafe work conditions or practices.

  • Complete and maintain safety certifications as required.

  • Use proper equipment and PPE; follow lifting and safety procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and secure work environment in accordance with company policies.

Policies and Procedures

  • Ensure confidentiality of proprietary and guest information.

  • Protect company property, tools, and assets.

  • Follow all departmental and company policies.

  • Adhere to personal appearance and uniform standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Guest Relations

  • Greet and interact with guests using professional, friendly etiquette.

  • Engage with guests regarding property services, local offerings, and preferences.

  • Resolve guest concerns using service recovery techniques (e.g., LEARN, PLEASED).

  • Assist individuals with disabilities within company and legal guidelines.

  • Monitor and respond proactively to guest needs and feedback.

Communication

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.

  • Use appropriate phone and radio etiquette.

  • Record and share important operational information in logs or reports.

  • Discuss work-related matters discreetly and appropriately.

Team Collaboration

  • Support coworkers and foster a respectful, inclusive environment.

  • Maintain productive relationships across departments.

  • Handle sensitive situations with discretion and diplomacy.

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor adherence to quality standards and brand requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, sit, or walk for long periods.

  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs without assistance.

  • Navigate narrow, elevated, or slippery surfaces.

  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stair climbing.

Food and Beverage Operations

  • Follow alcohol service procedures (e.g., TIPs, CARE).

  • Communicate guest dietary needs to the kitchen accurately.

  • Monitor dining room availability and guest safety.

  • Report incidents/accidents promptly and maintain documentation.

  • Complete inventory checks and requisition supplies.

  • Ensure temperature and food safety compliance (e.g., HACCP).

Wine and Beverage Service

  • Maintain and update wine lists and POS system (MICROS).

  • Pair wines with food offerings and educate staff accordingly.

  • Conduct wine tastings and manage wine cellar inventory.

  • Monitor cost controls and suggest new products.

  • Collaborate with vendors and organize wine promotions.

  • Ensure proper wine service techniques (e.g., decanting, glassware).

Bartending and Closing Duties

  • Set up and check bar inventory and quality.

  • Follow all legal requirements for alcohol service.

  • Secure and store beverages and supplies at end of shift.

  • Maintain accurate spill logs and transfer slips.

Guest Service Standards

  • Serve food and beverages in line with QA standards and service procedures.

  • Use suggestive selling techniques and upsell when appropriate.

  • Check in with guests throughout service for satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Min of 2 years in a related work experience

  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required
