To lead the Quality Control team in ensuring that all plastic products meet established quality standards before leaving the production line. The Quality Team Leader must ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the Quality Control team on the shop floor.
  • Monitor and enforce quality standards during production, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, and physical testing (e.g., load testing).
  • Train and guide QC inspectors and operators on inspection procedures and documentation.
  • Maintain and control quality records, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to resolve quality-related problems promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits of in-process and finished goods.
  • Ensure testing equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Enforce safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Support internal and external quality audits and customer inspections.
  • Perform first-off approval after mould change to ensure the product meets all quality specifications before authorizing the start of production.
  • Any other relevant or assigned tasks in line with company policies and objectives.

Qualifications & Main Skills

  • Minimum Higher School Certificate and professional certificate in Quality Management and/or relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience with a minimum of five (5) years in a similar position.
  • Deep understanding of ISO & HACCP principles.
  • Experience in Manufacturing sector is a plus.  
  • Good Mastery of MS Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide trainings shall be an advantage.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
