The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire mixing and grinding operations within the plastic production process. Understanding plastic raw materials, mixing formulations, grinding operations, and process optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the mixing and grinding teams, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet mixing and grinding targets.
  • Ensure correct formulation and proportion of raw materials as per production requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment performance, coordinating with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure consistent output.
  • Maintain records of raw material usage, batch mixing, grinding output, and waste management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices for productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train and mentor operators in machine operation, safety, and process control.
  • Coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, Master batches, regrind and additives etc.
  • Report daily and monthly mixing and grinding data to management.
  • Any other relevant or assigned tasks in line with company policies and objectives.

Qualifications & Main Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in engineering, mechanical, electrical or any other related filed.
  • At least four (4) years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory position.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools. 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
