The Product Manager must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; have a big picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. Product Managers will serve as the owners of their assigned products and will drive strategy, vision, and execution to ensure the product is successful throughout the entire lifecycle. They will serve as the internal and external evangelist for products and work across the business to drive execution to meet product and organizational goals.
A Product Manager empowers application teams to efficiently deliver high quality products that address current and future requirements, leveraging market insight and thought leadership.
What you’ll get to do
· Maintain a deep, empathetic understanding of the personas for whom you’re solving problems
· Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design, tech, and business partners.
· Align the product roadmap with business goals and priorities
· Drive discussions with customers, users, and developers on execution of product intent
· As product launch approaches, serve as product subject-matter expert, providing demos to stakeholders and customers, speaking not only to the functionality, but also to the business value and problems solved by the functionality
· Drive forward initiatives with passion and enthusiasm
· Motivate and inspire colleagues without direct authority
· Drive AI/ML usage and innovation via approved assist tools
Skills and experience we value
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Product Manager
· Strategic thinking, leadership, customer focus and curiosity
· User research and collaboration with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing solutions
· Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability, and able to work efficiently to make continued progress on multiple priorities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
· Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills
What would make you really stand out
· Prior experience in Canadian small business market
· Prior experience in Payroll, HR and/or WFM technology
· Prior experience with AI assist tools
