To support the day-to-day maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and networks. You will assist in installing hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance under the supervision of senior team members.
Key Skills and Technical Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with common productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools and security tools is a plus.
- Languages : Java, JavaScript, SQL, Node.js, HTML
- Databases : Oracle, MySQL
- Microsoft Technologies (Azure, O365, MS Exchange, MS SQL, etc)
- Security Products Knowledge
- Virtualization technology knowledge such as VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To work as a team member in delivering IT related projects.
- Provide Technical Support to existing clients
- Monitoring and Management of clients' systems and infrastructure, in terms of good health and functioning.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and troubleshooting problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and backups.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and support interactions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior specialists or relevant departments.
- Participate in system upgrades and deployments under guidance.
- Ensure IT compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide support for user account administration and access management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Potential Candidates need to have a minimum of 1 Year Experience in the following:
- Dynamic and eager to come up with innovative solutions and good analytical skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar job position.
- Certifications in Microsoft Technologies, VMware and other security related products will be a definite advantage.
- Good written and spoken English and French.
- Strong ability to work in a team with modest personality.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, or ticketing systems.
