The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading sales strategies, building client relationships, and managing a high-performing sales team within the IT sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities and mid-market segments business.
  • Understands the ins and outs of the Mauritian IT Industry.
  • Build and manage a team of sales professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance management.
  • Bring a strong portfolio of clients and partners to the table.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed/ up to day of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and executive-level presentations.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and pricing discussions.
  • Ensure CRM systems are kept updated and accurately reflect pipeline and activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field .
  • MBA preferred would be an advantage.
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the IT services or software industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and services, such as cloud solutions, SaaS, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of the Mauritian IT Industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
