RSA Trading & Engineering Co Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Engineer (with fire alarm experience)

Reporting to the Operations Director & Head of Finance the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities

• Programming of fire alarm systems

• Identify all technical aspects of electrical and fire alarm tenders

• Value-engineer of electrical and fire alarm designs

• Attend meetings with clients

• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers

• Prepare and price bill of quantities

• Prepare tender compliance sheets

• Managing & planning work for different teams of technicians

• Conduct site surveys and prepare material & labour breakdown

Qualifications & Experience

• BEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position
• Fully conversant with electrical shop drawings and fire alarm drawings
• Registration with the CRPEM would be an advantage

Other Requisites

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player who can work under pressure
• Computer literate and fully conversant with MS Office applications
• A valid driving license
• Experience in fire fighting and fire suppression system would be advantageous but is not a must
