The role purpose of a Cashier is to efficiently and accurately manage transactions with customers. This includes operating cash registers, collecting payments in cash, credit, or other approved methods, and ensuring all payments are processed and recorded correctly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Verify and give clearance to all sales orders (cash and credit) done by salespersons.
• Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit/debit cards, and automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and changes due to customers.
• Reconcile daily receipts (deposit &debtors) accurately with reports.
• Prepare daily cash and cheque banking.
• Allocation of payments for all cash & credit customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• School Certificate
• Up to six months as cashier
