Operations Manager - Distilling
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Develop and implement production schedules and budgets.
- Organise the flow and proper storage of finished goods and raw materials
- Oversee Logistics Planning
- Responsible for maintenance programme and ensure optimal functioning of equipment.
- Lead and motivate production staff.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare Sales and Production Reports
- Implement and ensure adherence to QSE processes and procedures
- Preparation of documentation for regulatory bodies, including MRA.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum five years of experience in distillery and/or food processing operations
- Strong understanding and familiarity of the distilling process would be a definite advantage
- Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control programs
- Knowledge in the regulations governing the production and sales of distilled spirits
- Excellent transformational leadership competence
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
