.NET Developer

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, brand of connected photo-booth terminals designed for private and professional events, is looking for a .NET Developer.

Main responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Integrate data storage solutions 
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Consult with clients 
• Be well informed of technology trends

Qualification:

• Holder of a degree in computer science, software programming or design                                                             

Candidate profile:

• Experience with popular web application frameworks
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Good written and spoken English and French
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Skill for writing reusable libraries
• Strong knowledge of .NET
• Proficient in {{C# and/or VB.NET}}, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
• Proficient in {{PHP/MySQL/JavaScript}}, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Strong knowledge of Windows Presentation Framework {{if needed}}
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)
