WAITER / WAITRESS

As a waiter/waitress at our establishment, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless dining experience by delivering high-quality service with attention to detail and professionalism.

1. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
2. Present menus and provide detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and promotions.
3. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
4. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
5. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or special requests.
6. Monitor table turnover and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
7. Prepare and set tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments before guests are seated.
8. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions securely.
9. Assist with other tasks such as refilling water glasses, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas as needed.
10. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of service and contribute to a positive work environment.
11. Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role preferred
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
3. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Knowledge of food and beverage items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
7. Neat and professional appearance with adherence to grooming standards.
8. Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
