Transport & Planning Coordinator

SDI Transport Ltd, forming part of SDI Group of Companies - www.sdimauritius.com is currently looking for a Transport & Planning Officer to join its team.

The ideal candidate shall be able to perform the following duties and tasks : 

• Oversee and Management of SDI Group Logistics and Work Planning and its procedures & operations with the Logistics Manager.
• Responsible for Sales and Marketing of Transport clients in conjunction with Management
• Ensures that that all vehicles which are part of company’s fleet, are legally safe on the road in terms of legal paperwork, mechanical equipment and new governmental rules. Keeping record of all expiration of legal documentations (Insurance, NTA, Declaration, etc...) pertaining to the fleet of vehicles.
• Reporting and follow up of all transport operations
• Handles Maintenance & Repairs of all vehicles with follow up, repairs endeavors, etc
• Ensures all vehicles are kept in a clean and professional state.
• GPS Tracking of vehicles and daily reporting.  
• Financial Reporting as per required by the Management including budgeting, forecast, debt recovery and payment follow up in conjunction with Accounting Dept.
• Management of daily logistics planning and allocation of man crews to different department in conjunction with Management
• Perform other related cognitive duties as required by the management.
