Trainee Laboratory Technician

Ingenia Group is looking for a dynamic Trainee Laboratory Technician

The job incumbent will assist in production process of Bio Fertilisers & Bio Pesticides. He will conduct laboratory works and will also be involved in research & development projects. The job incumbent will assist in the day-to-day administration of the bio-fertiliser plant and in regular inventory of chemicals, equipment & apparatus. He will provide technical support and help in marketing to planters’ community and stakeholders as and when required. He will also perform any other tasks as requested by his Superior.

Responsibilities:
•	Assists Laboratory Technician in Production Process of Biofertilisers and Bio Pesticides
•	Maintains & operates laboratory equipment as per Standard Operating Manual
•	Assists Laboratory Technician in Research & Development projects 
•	Assists Laboratory Technician to ensure proper inventory of Equipment & apparatus
•	Ensures general housekeeping & cleanliness in the laboratory
•	Complies to Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Procedures

Profile of the Ideal Candidates
•	BSC in Biotechnology, Agriculture or any related field
•	Experience in laboratory works & familiar with modern instruments like Fermenter, Rotary Shaker, Steam Generator, Air Compressor, Incubator, Laminar Air Flow, Steam Sterilizer, Trinocular Microscope and other Laboratory equipment
•	Ability to use lab apparatus & equipment
•	Excellent analytical skills & Problem solving approach
•	Good Computer Literacy
•	Good written and spoken English and French
