Promote and sell a product range to an allocated customer base
DUCRAY LENOIR, a well established company, in the Medical, Pharmaceutical and Laboratory supply, is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Representative.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Markets, sales and promotes medical and laboratory products and services.
- Designs, develops and implements market and sales plans and strategies to generate sales growth and to attain sales and profit objectives.
- Develop sales & marketing material tools as well as assist in coordination of trade shows, workshops and for similar events & activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Services and visit existing customers, obtains orders, and establishes new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to HOD.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge and establishing professional contact with customers to ensure payments are made within defined limits.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
KEY COMPETENCIES
· A diploma/ degree in scientific, engineering or electronic field or NTC2/DUST/BT/HND or equivalent qualification
· 2-3 years’ working experience in sales (laboratory products would be a definite advantage)
· Excellent networking, communication and negotiation skills.
· Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Holds a valid driving licence (preference for manual driving licence)
· Strong business acumen and analytical abilities.
· Customer focused.
