Storekeeper - Heritage The Villas/ Kaz'alala

Responsible for the receiving & issuing of consumable and non-consumable goods as to ensure the safe storage of products as per Standards

We are looking for Storekeeper to join our team at Heritage The Villas and Kaz'alala

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on a First in - First out basis 

2. Assist physical stocktaking of all items in store at stipulated intervals

3. Minimize wastage

4. Regular update on the temperature of food stuffs in cold storage while doing receiving of products

5. Ensure a strict control of access to the Store section

6. Ensure that goods received are of the same quality and quantity ordered, report cases of non-delivery and sub-standard deliveries to the Accounts department and email suppliers to send credit note for items not received

7. Receive store requisitions and ensures that all issues are made against requisitions, and that no items leave the storeroom without the appropriate approval signature

8.  Ensure a strict control of access to the Store section

Profile: 

• HSC or equivalent 
• Certificate in Store/Warehouse Management would be an advantage  
• Food Handlers Certificate
• At least 1 year working experience in a similar position  
• Computer literacy including hotel management system 
• Fluent both in English and French
