REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or any other qualification related to logistics, administration, or storekeeping
· Proven 2 years of work experience in store management and supply management or as Store Supervisor.
· Exposure to the warehouse and logistics industry
· Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
· Computer literate
· Ability to handle fragile stock with ease
· Clean and valid driving license is compulsory
· Clean and valid certificate of character is compulsory
· Physically fit and mobile
· English & French – written & spoken
· Professional presentation and attitude
· Good team player, proactive, honest, punctual, reliable
· Good time management, organisational and multi-tasking skills
· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
· Proficient in standard logistics software
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skill
The main duties and responsibilities of a Store Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
· Supervising, handling of incoming and outgoing packages, handling of receipt and checking of goods from shipment, ensuring that the correct amount, type and state of stock received.
· Check the goods received note and to follow the shipment receiving procedures
· Ensure and keep track of the inbound and outbound goods especially goods in transit are delivered, in terms of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
· Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and dispatching of products/accessories to our retail outlets in a timely manner at different locations by following routes and time schedule.
· Assisting other store staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery orders.
· Ensuring that all merchandise is properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damages during transit.
· Checking and reporting on damage furniture, fittings, and goods.
· Responsible for and ensuring that all products - damages/testers are returned from shops in a timely manner and are repaired and used in the future.
· Preparing merchandise for delivery by packaging and labelling them accordingly.
· Supervising and unpacking items, organizing merchandise, and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
· Participate in stock-take in different storage and various outlets, as and when required.
WORKING DAYS / HOURS
· Monday to Friday– 08h00 -17h00 or on shift system when required.
· Saturday – 08h00 -13h00 or on shift system when required.
· Sundays – in peak seasons – November, December or if needed for any urgent tasks.
· Public Holidays – in peak seasons – November, December or if needed for any urgent tasks.
· Available to work after normal business hours, during weekends, on public holidays, during peak season whenever the Company’s exigencies so require.
· Available to work at various outlets owned by the Company.
· Available on call and be at the office or the outlets whenever the Company’s exigencies so require.
