Casela Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated individual to champion and direct a first class Sports Centre to ensure a world class customer’s experience.
Duites and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and daily operations of the Sports Centre.
- Coordinate with internal resources and other stakeholders (as required) for the implementation of the project.
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team to promote the Centre in view of boosting membership.
- Lead, manage and motivate staff; taking responsibility for recruitment, induction, performance management and development of the team.
- Responsible for ordering new equipment and supplies needed by the Centre.
- Manage all aspects of health and safety; including risk assessments and setting up of in-house policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the equipment of the center is maintained in a safe and working condition at all times.
- Identify requirements of customers from all age groups and make appropriate proposals accordingly.
- Responsible for the maintenance, repairs and cleaning of equipment and premises through liaison with cleaning and maintenance team.
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Perform any other cognate duties as may be required.
Candidate’s Profile
- Hold a degree in business management or sports science or any other business-related subject.
- Proven experience in the sports and fitness industry is essential.
- Business acumen, creative thinking and problem-solving.
- Methodical with good organisational skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused and outgoing personality.
- Willingness to work according to flexible schedules
