Sourcing Executive

Sourcing Executive assist companies in negotiating with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their commodity industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement Manager in the management function of Procurement Department
• Manage the company’s procurement & supply chain portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
• Understanding the import process (from order to clearance)
• Involved in high-threshold negotiations
• Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies (both services & goods)
• Negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
• Contract management
• Optimize sourcing process to attain maximum efficiency
• Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
• Analyzing in house stock levels and make accurate purchase decision in line with supply chain lead time & company forecast
• Always ensure the company has an acceptable buffer stock across all stock categories
• Liaise with multi-functional department to ensure their sourcing, purchase are driven with their requirements
• Perform cost and risks analysis, and benchmarking
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Vendors assessment
• Maintain the CAPEX portfolio including budget for all departments.
• Other cognate duties as assigned by your reporting line

Requirements and skills

• 5 years proven work experience as a Sourcing Executive, preferably in a FMCG industry
• Degree Holder (Preferably in supply chain, management)
• Familiar with NAVISION
• Master basic Microsoft software (Excel, Powerpoint etc..)
• Market trend analytical skills
• Leadership skills
