Practice Management and Continuous Improvement:Lead and oversee all aspects of the software engineering practice, including strategy, operations, and process improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Business Development and Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain a robust revenue pipeline by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Talent Acquisition, Development, and Team Leadership:Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of software engineering professionals. Provide coaching, mentorship, and strong leadership to foster their growth and excellence.
Financial Management:Ensure the profitability and financial health of the practice by monitoring budgetary performance and optimizing resource allocation to enhance efficiency and maximize returns.
Strategic Planning and Operational Excellence:Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve practice objectives and goals. Drive operational excellence by implementing efficient processes and procedures.
Vendor and Supplier Management:Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source and implement the right solutions to meet client needs effectively.
Participation in RFPs and New Initiatives:Represent the software engineering practice in requests for proposals (RFPs) and contribute expertise to secure new business opportunities. Drive the implementation of new initiatives to enhance the practice's offerings.
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:Ensure the delivery of high-quality software engineering services and solutions by implementing rigorous quality assurance processes and standards. Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in client engagements.
Risk Management and Thought Leadership:Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with software engineering projects and initiatives. Act as a thought leader in the software engineering domain by staying informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
Innovation and Stakeholder Engagement:Foster innovation within the practice and engage stakeholders at all levels to drive collaboration, innovation, and the adoption of best practices.
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) preferred.
Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, with a strong track record of business development and client management.
In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
