Your Role:
Ensuring the finish quality and that the meaning of the source text is retained
Using specialist dictionaries and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used
Using appropriate software for presentation and delivery
Researching legal, technical and commercial phraseology to find the correct translation
Follow-up with requesters
Proofreading and editing final translated versions
Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation
Recruit, train and manager a team of junior translators
Be responsible for the team results: KPIs monitoring
Your Profile :
Bac +3/ Bachelor holder in languages with focus on translation.
Fluency in two or more languages, English is a MUST
Min. 2 years of proven experience in translation
Excellent Writing skills and command of grammar
Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
Proficiency in the use of a range of computer packages - knowledge of translation-oriented applications and software is helpful, though not essential
Ability to work in autonomy
