We are seeking an exceptional Senior Graphic Designer/Typesetter to lead our dynamic team in the field of investor communication. As a senior member of our team, you will not only play a pivotal role in transforming complex information into visually compelling designs but also take on additional responsibilities in guiding and mentoring junior designers. Your work will be instrumental in shaping our company’s approach to integrated reporting and ensuring that our clients’ messages resonate effectively with their stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in interpreting and visualising data for investors communication purposes.
• Design sophisticated and impactful layouts for both print and digital mediums, setting te standard for visual excellence. 
• Maintain consistency in design elements, fonts and branding across all materials, while also pushing the boundaries of creativity.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices in visual communication, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understanf their objectives and incorporate feedback into design solutions.
• Demonstrate mastery in typesetting, layout, graphic design, typographic, infographic and analytics, inspiring excellence in your team.

Key Required Skills, Aptitude and Attitude:

• Extensive experience as a Designer/Typesetter with a proven track record of success in integrated reporting or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), coupled with an innate sense of creativity and innovation.
• Exceptional typography skills and an unwaring commitment to detail and quality. 
• Deep understanding of integrated reporting principles and sustainability concepts, coupled with the ability to translate them into compelling visual narratives. 
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards excellence.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. 
• A results-driven mindset and a passion for driving impactful communication strategies that drive real-world change. 

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Extensive portfolio showcasing high-level design and typesetting work, with a focus on integrated reporting or corporate communications. 
• Minimum 5 years' experience in creative environment with a proven track record of leadership and mentorship. 
• Previous experience in guiding and mentoring junior designers, as well as collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Advanced knowledge of design software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
