Senior Front-End Developer

TotalEnergies Mobility Services International Ltd is looking for a Senior Front-End Developer.

TotalEnergies Mobility Services International Ltd (TEMSI) is a tech subsidiary of the TotalEnergies company based in Mauritius. We are approximately 100 employees thriving to innovate, develop and maintain the Company's software solutions. More specifically, we work closely with various Marketing & Services subsidiaries to develop Mobility oriented solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join one of our feature teams. These agile teams are usually composed of a product owner, developers and a tester and assisted by a scrum master. This composition, the roles, the seniority of the team members can vary according to the projects. Each team owns the features they are working on. They are supported by technical referents & devops team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Main activity: design, development, and unit testing of new features in the application from front end to api
• Ensure code is committed daily and locally backed up regularly.
• Collaborating with the front-end/fullstack developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Responsible for his/her code Performance, and maintainability 
• In all developments abide by coding best practices: code comments, creation of logs, traceability of actions.
• Resolve any defects in systems.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Participate as a team member in fully Agile Scrum deliveries: active member during Agile ceremonies, and populate support tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps suite.
• Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process. 
• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
• Report on issues or alert that may prevent to achieve milestones to management for arbitration.
• Create Impact analysis and technical specifications.
• Maintain documentation up to date through regular reviews.
• Explain features developed through demonstrations to Product Owner & testers.
• Design, perform and log Unit test.
• Regular self-training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Coach other developers (code review, technical referent etc…).
• Should actively participate in backlog refinement and technical discovery.
• Assist other developers with complex issues.
• Propose alternative and discuss technical solutions
