• Currently studying ACCA Level 1 with at least 2 -3 years’ experience (preferably in an accounting or audit firm)
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner
• Process local suppliers’ invoices to ensure completeness and proper GL codification
- Perform reconciliation of all invoices with the suppliers’ statement of accounts ensuring that all invoices are recorded.
- Monitor and review the creditors’ ageing report and ensure that suppliers’invoices are paid within their respective due dates.
- Organise and perform monthly and yearly stocktake and ensure that the monthly stocktake figures are accurate.
- Investigate on differences identified during/after the stocktake and book inventory adjustments in the GL.
- Maintain and update fixed asset register monthly and compute the monthly depreciation charges to be processed in the system.
- Follow up on renewing yearly relevant licenses (company license, trade license, factory certificate etc.)
- Assist in the preparation of yearly FS as per applicable accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of board pack for board meetings.
• Liaising with internal/external auditors for yearly audit.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Management.
