STOCK / INTERNAL CONTROLLER

Description :

• Carry out physical inventories.
• Participate in the implementation of internal control system.
• Lead cycle counts, sample checks, internal audits, and address inventory discrepancies.
• Provide material for compilation of internal control reports and presentation.
• Keep your Head of Department informed about all unusual matters and anomalies.
• Ensure daily reports are prepared diligently and correctly.
• Investigate ERP for anomalies.
• Control the departmental revenue & expenditure on an ongoing basis.
• Prepare statistics for analysis and trend.
• Assist budgetary purposes.
• Conduct ongoing testing of key areas as required by management.
• Be responsible for all credit notes, transfers and exchange procedures related to unused, faulty, and unmerchantable items.
• Monitor procedures in respect of purchases, receipts & payments (including paid out), petty cash, daily takings, banking, among others …
• Closely monitor stock ageing in view of mitigating its financial impact
• Ensure daily reporting of stock situations to management.
• Any cognate duties related to this position. 

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher School Certificate
• A minimum 4 years’ work experience in the relevant field
• Experience in Timber Industry will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS office and stock management software is a must.
• High proficiency in Excel is a must.
• Ability to work on your own and have a “Can do” attitude will be an advantage.
