Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee our quality assurance operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety across all products. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and the ability to lead a team to ensure compliance and excellence in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, and monitor comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments of raw materials, production processes, and final products to ensure compliance with specifications. 
  • Manage and resolve quality-related issues by implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enforce quality standards and improve product consistency and safety.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of quality testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements and analyses.
  • Lead internal audits, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and certifications.
  • Analyze data and compile reports on quality performance, audit outcomes, and corrective actions for senior management review.

This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of food safety standards.

A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred, along with experience within the food manufacturing industry.

 

Salary Dependent on Educational Level and Experience.

 

Essential Skills:

- Must possess a drivers license

- Must be able to communicate fluently in English and French
