Product Developer

Maxiwear Ltd is a fast growing and dynamic company. We are looking for a talented product developer with the right attitude and experience to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for product creation off tech packs from design hand-off to production.
• Manage the fit and evaluation of prototypes ensuring all products meet customer standards and expectations
• Liaise with technical team and suppliers to develop new trims, construction techniques, and processes to create innovative and technically superior products.
• Ensure greige, fabric and sample orders are placed according to the seasonal calendar to achieve required deadline dates.
• Maintain and leverage strong partnerships with our suppliers.
• Ensure products pass risk analysis and meet appropriate safety standards.
• Ensure seamless communication with customers, factory and suppliers.
• Drive multiple project timelines and ensure internal team makes decisions as needed to meet product creation and production deadlines.
• Execute seasonal costing process.

Experience/Skills

• At least 3 years’ working experience in similar position.
• Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or Technology.
• Knowledge of Design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw).
• Knowledge of different knitted fabrics, fitting, grading, garment construction.
• Must have good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Good team player, proactive, self-motivated and well-organized.
